How good isn't with caramelized onions, yum! And homemade hamburger sauce. These two along with fried egg, fried halloumi cheese on a slice of bread was so unbelievably good. On the side I served sweet potato fries and grated carrot. I would almost say that this is better than what you get at a restaurant.
Karamelliserad Lök
gul lök
smör/olja
honung eller sirap
salt
Skala och skiva löken. Stek löken i en stekpanna med en klick smör och ringla över flytande honung/sirap. Bryn tills löken mjuknat och fått lite färg. Häll på lite vatten och stek löken ca 20-30 min. Ha i mer vatten efterhand den kokar in. Krydda med salt.
Hamburgersås
1 dl majonnäs
2-3 msk ketchup
1-2 msk saltgurka, hackad
1-2 tsk strösocker
malen svartpeppar
Blanda ihop alla ingredienser i en skål. Förvara i kylen.
Caramelized Onions
yellow onion
butter / oil
honey or syrup
salt
Peel and slice the onion. Fry the onions in a pan with a knob of butter and drizzle with honey / syrup. Fry the onion until softened and lightly browned. Pour in a little water and cook the onion about 20-30 minutes. Add more water gradually when it boils up. Season with salt.
Hamburger Sauce
1 dl mayonnaise
2-3 tbsp ketchup
1-2 tbsp pickled gherkin, chopped
1-2 tsp granulated sugar
salt
ground black pepper
In a small bowl, stir together all of the ingredients. Store in the fridge.
